| Lower Clopton Farm Shop is a family run business situated on the border of The Cotswolds nestled at the base of Meon Hill in a beautifully converted Victorian barn. Look out for the clock tower when you visit.
Our aim is to sell the highest quality British produce, sourced either directly from our own farm or other local farmers where possible. We believe in supporting the British economy and the local farming community, so you’ll find that 99% of the produce available in our store is British.
From our own beef & lamb that graze on Meon Hill, to fresh bread & pastries from our bakery on-site, the farm shop sells a great variety of high quality, fresh and locally sourced, seasonal food. We supply our own free range eggs, dry cured bacon, sausages and burgers in addition to delicious seasonal fruit and vegetables bursting with flavour from the fields around us.
There are gourmet pickles and preserves, puddings and pies, all with that special taste that comes from being made by people who care about the good food they make.
Richard and his butchery team are on hand each day to assist with all your questions. If you are looking for a speciality cut or planning a special occasion, please don’t hesitate to call to pre-order before visiting. |

Quality, traceable, local produce has been available from the Farm Shop in 2004. All the meat sold in the shop is from Old Farm animals and the butcher is in Long Compton keeping food miles to a minimum. he cattle and sheep are grass fed and the beef is hung for a minimum of 3 weeks. The Old Spot sows are crossed with a Large White boar to produce tasty, succulent pork with just the right amount of fat to make great crackling! We now home cure and home smoke our own bacon and you can really taste the difference. |
