Two new departures for 2006 are sales of continually chaging selection of home grown plants on the days that the gardens are open, and a tearoom run by Margueritte and David offering light lunches anda selection of delightful cakes. Parts of the gardens are set on very steep banks that many will find very difficult to cope with. Maps showing recommend routes for people with limited mobility are available at the garden entrance. Additonally, powered wheelchairs are not recommended because the narrowness and unevenness of some paths. A very strong companion is likely to be needed by most wheelchair users. Because the drive is gravelled, wheelchair users should drive right up to the garden entrance. |
